Free Beach Bus!

Great news today from the Panama City Beach Convention & Visitor’s Bureau – there will be FREE transportation in the form of a new “Beach Bus” for absolutely anyone to ride!

Starting July 1st through Labor Day, the Beach Buses will run from Walmart (just steps away from Sunbird!) to the Welcome Center (Corner of Hwy 79 & 98) on a continuing route daily from 9:00 AM- 9:00 PM along Front Beach Road. There won’t be any specified stops, it’s a case of if you see the Panama City Beach Bus, just wave it down!

The service is funded by a grant to the Bay County Transportation Planning Organization, and is really exciting news for anyone looking to get out and explore the beach, shop or have fun without having to drive or pay for a cab. It’s especially great for Sunbird guests who want to get all the way over to Pier Park or the west end of the beach! Talk about convenient! Just another reason Panama City Beach is the place to vacation!
